Our Inclusive Dialogue approach defines the lakou as a place where Local, Authentic, Knowledgeable, Open, and Unconditional dialogues unfold. If the lakou starts with the family, we believe that every inclusive dialogue starts with Local people engaging in Authentic conversations about what binds them together; they remain curious about each other’s values in a way that contributes to the generation of new Knowledge; as new forms of knowledge are created, individuals Open themselves up by listening Unconditionally to the endless possibilities that perhaps together they can imagine a new future for Haiti for generations to come
